Thanks to our wide range of sizes, our plastic horseshoes are suitable for both the smallest ponies and the largest draft horses. Our lineup starts at 50 mm for miniature and pony hooves and goes up to a robust 198 mm for heavy horses and large breeds. Between 50 mm and 178 mm, sizes increase in 4 mm increments, ensuring a precise fit; from 182 mm upward, increments increase to 8 mm. For easy reference, this range roughly corresponds to US horseshoe sizes from 0000 (miniature ponies) up to size 7 (large drafts). Always measure the hoof in millimeters for the most accurate fit.
Just like a horse’s natural hoof, our horseshoes combine both soft and rigid materials. The softer plastic component plays a vital role in pure plastic or composite shoes, offering flexibility, shock absorption, and hoof-friendly support with every step.
The semi-soft plastic shell effectively cushions impacts and reduces high-frequency vibrations during landing. This creates a smoother, more comfortable ride for your horse, whether on trails or in the arena.
With a wide range of customization options, our hoof protection can be easily tailored to fit the horse’s hoof shape and unique needs—similar to how traditional metal horseshoes are adapted, but with less effort and greater versatility.
Thanks to the integrated steel core, the composite shoe maintains excellent torsional stability and keeps its shape over time, ensuring reliable performance even under challenging conditions and extended wear cycles.
Our horseshoes can be nailed or glued depending on the horse’s individual needs. They can even be used as cast shoes, offering flexibility for different therapeutic and practical applications in hoof care.
One key benefit of plastic materials is easier adjustment using an angle grinder or belt sander—this not only saves time but also protects the farrier’s joints from the repetitive strain often caused by traditional forging techniques.
